Police appeal after 'shots fired' through bedroom window in Crossmaglen

A late-night shooting in Co Armagh left no-one hurt or with injuries, police have confirmed.

It was around 10.30pm on Wednesday, January 6 when police received a report about a shooting incident in the Trainor Crescent area of Crossmaglen.

Two gunshots were reportedly fired through a bedroom window at the rear of a property.

"Thankfully no-one was injured or hurt," Detective Constable Sands confirmed the following day.

The detective said: “Our enquiries are continuing and we are appealing for witnesses or those who may have CCTV or dash cam footage at the time the incident occurred to contact us on 101 quoting reference number 1779 05/01/22.”
