Police appeal after shed is deliberately burned down in West Lothian garden

Police are continuing to hunt for a firebug who deliberately burned down a garden shed in Armadale at the weekend.

Emergency services raced to the fire at Dell Avenue at around 6.45am on Saturday (October 9) to put out the fire, which police have described as "deliberate".

Police officers carried out door-to-door enquiries and are viewing CCTV footage they collected.

Detective Constable Lynn Myles said: "I’m appealing for anyone with any information to contact us. Did you see anything suspicious or odd, did you see anyone acting suspiciously?

"Any small piece of information could be useful I our enquiries, so please do pass it on.

"Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident 0951 of 9 October.

"Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where you can give your information anonymously."
