Police have launched an appeal for information after a serious assault near George Square in Glasgow city centre.
Officers are looking for witnesses to the attack which took place on Cochrane Street on Saturday night.
Greater Glasgow Police have this morning released a statement which reads: "We're appealing for witnesses after a serious assault on Cochrane Street, near George Square, around 10.40pm on Sat 19 Oct.
"Male suspect described as white, 30-35, short brown hair & slim build, with dark hooded top & grey bottoms.
"Any info? Call 101 quoting ref 4641 of 19 Oct."
