Police appeal after pensioner followed home from bank and robbed in Bexley

Police are appealing for help identifying two men in connection with the robbery of an 80-year-old man in south-east London.

On March 13, an elderly victim was followed after withdrawing a substantial amount of cash from a bank in Bexley.

He was making his way home when he was robbed by two men who took the money, Bexley MPS said.

The force is appealing for information about two men who were captured on CCTV boarding a bus that morning.

In a tweet, Blexley MPS said the force wants to speak with the two men in connection with the robbery.

The spokesman added: "On the 13th March, an 80-year-old male was followed from a bank where he had withdrawn a substantial amount of cash.

"Whilst making his way back home, he was robbed by two males, taking the cash."
