The man was travelling back from a night out with a friend when the violent assault happened.

As he was boarding the Route 210 bus in Islington at around 12.40am on Saturday, June 22, he got into an altercation with another male passenger.

The man, who was boarding the bus with a woman at the same stop, punched the victim in the face, causing him to fall over. He continued to punch him and grabbed him by the throat.

The victim was treated by the London Ambulance Service who treated him for facial injuries. He lost a number of teeth and has had to undergo extensive dental work.

The suspect is described as 5ft 5ins tall, of stocky build, with short dark coloured hair and a beard. He was wearing a blue T-shirt and jeans.
