Police appeal after 'man exposes himself' in Belfast

Police are appealing for information following a report of a man exposing himself in Belfast.

It is said to have happened in an alleyway to the rear of Colvil Street in the east of the city at around 5.25pm yesterday, Thursday July 16.

A PSNI spokesperson added: "It was reported that the man had exposed himself near to where children were playing and when challenged by a parent of one of the children the man made off from the area.

"He was described as being approximately 5’7” tall with a Belfast accent and was wearing a burgundy coloured top with grey Adidas track bottoms and wore a face mask."

Anyone with any information about this incident or who may be able to help with the police investigation, is asked to call officers at Strandtown on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference number 1525 16/07/20.
