Police appeal after man, 61, found dead at Wirral house

An appeal has been launched by coroners to trace the next of kin of a man from the Wirral who died at a home in Rock Ferry last week.

John Stephen Williams, who was 61, was found dead at his home address in Dell Grove in Rock Ferry on the Wirral on Friday, April 9.

His death is not being treated as suspicious but he has no known next of kin and the coroner's office is appealing for relatives to get in contact with them as soon as possible.

Police often issue appeals on behalf of the coroner in such situations.

Anyone who is able to assist is being asked to contact the Coroner’s Investigation Officer Lisa McElvogue on 0151 233 0128 or people can email Lisa.McElvogue@liverpool.gov.uk
