Police appeal after Lanarkshire teen missing for almost two days

Police are seeking the assistance of the public in trying to locate a 13-year-old boy missing from Wishaw.

Gary Lyttle was last seen in Grampian Road, Wishaw around 4pm on Friday, August 14.

He is described as  white, around 5ft 4 inches in height, with short brown hair, brown eyes and a slim build. He was wearing a black Nike tracksuit and black trainers.

Gary often visits the Coltness, Craigneuk areas of Wishaw and Muirhouse in Motherwell. He also has family in Bellshill and may have travelled to that area.

Extensive enquiries have been carried out, however attempts to locate Gary have so far proved unsuccessful.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen Gary or have any information or knowledge as to his whereabouts to contact them.

Anyone with information is asked to call officers at Bellshill Police Station via 101.
