Police appeal after incident in the Bear Pit

Police have issued a photo of a man they want to speak to following criminal damage in Bristol city centre.

The incident happened at the Bear Pit roundabout on Tuesday, March 24.

Today (Thursday, April 9), Avon and Somerset Constabulary have issued a photo of a man they want to track down.

A spokesman for the force said: "We are hoping the public can help us identify the man, pictured, who we wish to speak to in connection with a report of criminal damage in Bristol."

The incident happened between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.

The spokesman added: "Anyone who recognises the individual is asked to report it online and give reference number 5220072171. If you cannot use our website, please call 101."
