Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the M4.
The crash happened last Thursday (September 12) on the westbound carriageway between junctions 17 and 18 at about 11.10pm.
An Avon and Somerset police spokesman said: "A black Honda CRV overturned after colliding with an unknown vehicle which failed to stop.
"A silver VW caddy then collided with the Honda.
"The drivers of the Honda and the VW were subsequently treated at hospital for minor injuries."
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dashcam footage of it, should call 101 providing the call handler with the reference 5219211288.
It was reported at the time that there was traffic chaos across Bristol with much of the city grid-locked due to a number of incidents.
First Bus apologised for the delays while many commuters vented their frustration on Twitter.
