Police appeal after hit-and-run causes £4K worth of damage in Tayside

A BMW crashed into a parked car in Tayside causing £4000 worth of damage.

Cops are now appealing for information following the hit-and-run which happened on Culloden Terrace in the Arbroath area yesterday, July 11.

The incident happened around 1.15am and caused an excess of four grand worth of damage to the parked car.

Constable Stuart Hadden of Arbroath Police Office, said: “In excess of £4,000 worth of damage has been caused to the vehicle and the driver failed to stop.

“We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has seen a black BMW with new and significant damage to the front to contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police on 101 quoting incident 0360 of 11 July, 2020.
