Girl, 9, missing in Greenwich found, police say

A missing nine-year-old girl from south-east London who was the subject of a police appeal has been found.

Demi was reported missing from Greenwich shortly after 4pm on Sunday.

But early Monday morning, officers confirmed that Demi had been found safe and well.

Greenwich Police said: “We’re pleased to confirm that nine-year-old Demi who had been reported missing has now been found.”

Police had previously said they were “concerned for her welfare” and had urged anyone with information about her whereabouts to call 999, quoting reference 4434/16Jan.
