Police in Rutherglen are appealing to members of the public for information after a teenager's bike was stolen.
The 13-year-old boy was robbed of his mountain bike in Rutherglen around 6.50pm on Saturday evening.
The boy was walking with his bike in a lane near Greystone Avenue and was approached by a group of 11 boys and one girl.
One of the boys threatened the youngster, then stole his bike, a Indi ATB mountain bike.
Detective Sergeant Vicky Murray said: “The boy is shaken by this incident but uninjured. We are working to trace those involved in this incident. We have been checking CCTV and making enquiries in the local area.
“This is a busy area and I would ask anyone who witnessed this incident, or who was in the area around the time of this robbery yesterday to contact us through 101 with reference 3121 of 11 June.
"Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
