A family pet has been found dead with what is believed to be a gunshot wound.
Police say the cat, which was called Milk, was found dead on Friday night in Kingarve Court in Dungannon around teatime.
In an appeal they said: "This little cat spent his life being loved and spoiled by his family.
"Cruelly, however, he was found dead on Friday night with what we believe is a gunshot wound.
"He was part of the family and his humans need to know how and why this happened.
"We need to find out how he came to have these injuries - someone must know something - examine your conscience, then pick up the phone.
