Greater Manchester Police said officers were called at 5pm on December 24 last year to reports of a father, mother and son being attacked by three other men.

It happened in a car park of the shopping mall.

The father - a 39-year-old man - suffered an injury to his eye socket.

Police have issued a public appeal (GMP.)

Almost two months on, he's still having treatment, the force said.

No other details - or an exact location - have been released.

Police said officers investigating the assault want to speak with the two men pictured.

The force has issued an appeal for the public's help.

A man, aged 23, has been interviewed voluntarily and 'remains under investigation', the force said.
