
Police would like to speak to this woman in connection with a racist incident on a bus
(Picture: Met Police)Police have issued an appeal after an elderly black woman was racially abused and two passengers spat at on a bus in Camden.
A white female passenger hurled a tirade of abuse at the victim on a northbound route 24 bus to Hampstead Heath at 4.30pm on Saturday, July 23.
Several passengers stepped in and challenged the suspect. During a tense exchange, the suspect spat in the faces of two other people.
Officers investigating the offences have now released a photo of a woman they would like to speak to in connection with the incidents.
Officers are also appealing for the victim who was racially abused to get in touch.
