Police are appealing to the public after a concerning note was found in a bush in a Newcastle park.
A member of the public found the note in a bush on Sunday shortly before 5.50pm in Heaton Park near Park View Dental Practice.
Officers have said the note appears to be written recently and the author mentions the death of their mother before signing off as ‘Sharon’.
Inquiries remain ongoing with the area continuing to be searched.

Police are growing concerned for the author’s wellbeing and are now appealing to the public to help identify them.
The author, or anyone who may be able to assist the police, is asked to contact them by dialling 999 and quoting reference number 734 27/06/21.
