Police appeal after Chinese restaurant in Glasgow suffers break in

Police are appealing for information following a break in at a Chinese restaurant in Glasgow.

The incident occurred at Same Same restaurant, on St George's Road near St George's Cross, within the past week - with the restaurant having been closed to the public since Sunday.

Photos from the scene show the front door having been damaged, with shattered glass strewn on the pavement outside.

Police have confirmed that enquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We can confirm that officers have received a report of a break-in to a restaurant in the St George's Road area of Glasgow, which is believed to have happened between Thursday, March 19 and Thursday, March 26.

"Enquiries are at an early stage and anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 0976 of 27 March".
