Police appeal after burglars break into home only to return a day later to steal again

Burglars who broke into a teenager's home during the early hours of the morning returned to the same address the following day to steal again.

A woman in her 50s and a teenage girl were at home when two or three men first fireced their way into a property on Buckley Hill Lane, in Milnrow, through a window at around 5.50am on Tuesday, May 14.

The men returned to the property the following day, at around 2pm, and broke in again.

A number of items were stolen, including a brown leather Radley handbag, a blue leather Radley purse, some cash and a Volkswagen Tiguan.

Police say the woman and teenager were at home during both of these incidents and though neither were injured, they have been left 'incredibly shaken'.

Officers have now released images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

One of the offenders is described as white, of a slim build with a pale complexion with short facial hair and he is around 5ft 9ins tall. He was wearing shorts, a dark blue jacket with a baseball cap and black trainers, police say.
