Police appeal after break-in at Ayrshire golf club

Police are appealing for information following a break-in at a golf club in North Ayrshire.

Officers believe the clubhouse at Skelmorlie GC was broken into sometime between 8.20pm on Tuesday, October 1 and 2am on Wednesday, October 2.

At this stage, it is not believed anything has been stolen.

A police spokesman said: “Our enquiry is at an early stage but I’m appealing to local people in the area who may have seen or heard something which they thought was a little suspicious. If you have any information, please do pass it on.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at Largs Police Office via 101 quoting incident #0028 of the 2nd of October. Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.
