Police appeal after body of man found in Toxteth

Police have named a man after his body was found at a house in Liverpool.

The man was sadly found dead at his home in Toxteth on Monday.

Police have ruled out any foul play surrounding the death of the 58-year-old discovered at his address in Vandyke Street.

Confirming the sad discovery, Merseyside Police named the man as Kwok Lau.

Today police urged the public to help efforts to locate relatives of Mr Lau.

So far attempts to trace any family members have been unfruitful.

A spokesperson said: "Can you help Liverpool Coroner's Office find the next of kin of a Toxteth man who sadly died recently?

Mr Kwok Lau, 58, from Vandyke Street passed away on Monday 15 February. There are no suspicious circumstances."
