Police appeal after armed robbery of licenced premises in North Belfast

The PSNI are appealing for information after a man armed with a knife robbed licenced premises in North Belfast on Monday afternoon.

Detectives were called to a report of an armed robbery in the Oldpark Road area of the city around 4pm on July 12.

The suspect made off with money towards the Deerpark Road after the incident occurred.

Detective Sergeant Natalie Moore said: "At around 3:55pm, it was reported that a male entered the premises armed with a knife. The male, described as wearing a dark coloured hooded top with thick, white stripes just below the neckline, dark grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers, made off with a sum of money towards the Deerpark Road area following the incident.

"Enquiries are continuing and anyone with any information about this incident, including dash-cam footage or who may be able to help with the investigation, is asked to call officers on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference number 450 26/06/21, or submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/."
