A 32-year-old woman has been found dead at a property in Kenton.
Paramedics attended a property in Wycliffe Avenue on Sunday afternoon where they found the woman's body.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
"Shortly after 1.30pm yesterday (Sunday), police received a report of a death at an address on Wycliffe Avenue," said a Northumbria Police spokesperson.
"It was reported that a 32-year-old woman had be pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.
"Officers attended to determine the circumstances surrounding the death.
"Her next of kin have been notified and there is not believed to have been any third party involvement.
"A report has been made for the coroner."
