Police and paramedic called to St Ann's property after 'sudden death'

Police and a paramedic were called to a house in St Ann's following the sudden death of a man.

Residents reported seeing officers from Nottinghamshire Police and paramedics attending an incident in Wells Gardens, just off The Wells Road, at around 10.40am on Tuesday, June 16.

This has now been confirmed to be that of a sudden death, which is currently being treated as not suspicious, police say.

Inspector Sam Winter said: “Nottinghamshire Police were called to an address in Wells Gardens, St Ann’s, at around 10.40am today following a report of the sudden death of a man at the property.

“Our enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances of his death which is not being treated as suspicious at this time. His family has been informed.”
