Police and fire crews race to incident at River Clyde in Glasgow City Centre

Emergency services have raced to an incident at the River Clyde, in Glasgow City Centre.

Both Police Scotland vehicles and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service personnel were seen at the incident, on Clyde Street, by the river, which is understood to have unfurled late this afternoon (Monday).

Both Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have been contacted by Glasgow Live for information, however details cannot be confirmed at this moment.

UPDATE: Police Scotland have since advised: "Officers attended and a man has been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for assessment."
