Police and bomb squad swoop on Glasgow street in ongoing incident

Emergency services are responding to an ongoing incident in the Springburn area of Glasgow.

Police along with specially trained forensic officers and a bomb disposal team have been spotted leaving a property on Campsie Street.

Neighbours reported a large emergency service presence outside the property.

Around 2.30pm police arrived at the scene and remained while bomb units and forensics arrived in specialist vehicles.

It is unclear what the nature of the incident is.

Police officers remained outside the property for hours.
