Police and ambulance crews rush to three car horror smash on busy Scots road

Emergency crews have raced to a three car crash on a busy Scots road.

Police and ambulance staff are currently at the scene on the A92 near Ladybank, Fife after reports of three motors colliding at 12.55pm.

Details are still emerging of the types of cars involved or if there have been any serious injuries.

A picture from the scene shows a number of police vehicles, a bus and a car.

The road has been closed.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 12.55pm on Thursday, 3 June, officers were called to a report of a three car road crash on the A92 at Ladybank.

"Police and Ambulance are at the scene. The road is currently closed."

Traffic Scotland, which manages the road network, tweeted about the crash and warned of delays.

The tweet read: "#A92 at Ladybank

"RTC causing an obstruction in both directions

"Police en route."
