The A706 in West Lothian is closed after a “serious road collision” between a vehicle and a pedestrian in the early hours of this morning.
Police and ambulance crews raced to the scene and the A706 in Whitburn has been closed in both directions, between the Whitdale Roundabout and Boghead Roundabout, since around 5am.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police were called at 4.45am on Friday October 25 following on from reports of a serious road collision between a pedestrian and one vehicle on the A706 between Whitdale roundabout and Boghall roundabout. The road remains closed and enquiries are ongoing.”
