Police air and dog units join massive search for missing Scots 10-year-old

Police air units and dogs have joined in a massive search for a missing 10-year-old Scots boy.

UPDATE: Jamie has been found

A huge operation has been launched to trace Jamie Dundas who has vanished from his home in Bellshill, Lanarkshire.

The child was last seen in the Liberty Road area of the town at around 6.05pm tonight.

A huge search has been launched including officers from the air support, dog and specialist search Units, have been searching the local area since he was reported missing but do far no trace of him. 

Police are now urging the public to report any information to help bring the youngster home- who has not gone missing before.

Sergeant Dougie Scott, Motherwell Police Station, said: "Jamie has not been missing before.

"Both his family and police have been out looking for him and have been contacting friends to try and find him but there has been no sign of him yet.

"Anyone with information as to where he is can contact Motherwell Police Station via 101 quoting reference 2861 number of 3 November 2020.”
