Police advise members of the public after reports of a flasher in Singleton Park

Police are to offer advice to the public after reports of a flasher in a popular Swansea park.

Officers with South Wales Police are investigating an incident of indecent exposure in the middle of the day in Singleton Park - 12.50pm on Thursday, January 6.

Since the incident, there's been increased patrols in the park, regarded by many as the city's finest, and police say they are looking for a white, male suspect who is described as being around 25 years of age, around 6ft tall, of slim build with purple hair and dark facial hair. They are also carrying out CCTV inquiries and appealing for further information from the public.

Officers from the Gower neighbourhood policing team now say they plan to attend the park on Friday, January 14 at 10am, in the Swiss Cottage area, to offer crime prevention advice and reassurance to the public.

The force told WalesOnline on Thursday, January 13 that they are still investigating the incident and that there was no further update to give at this stage.
