South Wales Police Swansea say they are disgusted by the actions of a gang of anti social youths who have destroyed a community picnic bench in Blackpill.
A police patrol car from Gower neighbourhood policing team was responding to reports of an arson attack on a park bench this evening.
Officers arrived shortly after a gang of 30 youths were seen fleeing from the scene after torching the bench in the popular visitor spot.
The fire has been extinguished.
Police are investigating the incident and have warned they will be taking a zero tolerance approach.

South Wales Police tweeted at 9.56pm: "Officers attend the Blackpill area this evening following reports of several youths who were seen setting the picnic bench alight, absolutely disgusted by this behaviour, over 30 youths seen and made off prior to Police Attendance!"
