The premiere of the final series of Poldark will take place tonight, but one member of the cast will be missing.
Beatrice Edney , who plays Prudie in the drama series, claims she hasn't been invited to the glitzy event, which will take place in Cornwall.
The actress, 56, says the BBC failed to invite her to the premiere along with her co-stars because she's too old.
Beatrice tweeted: "Please don’t blame me for not attending the premiere for Poldark — @BBCOne didn’t invite me.
"Although mainly middle aged women are the audience for the show we struggle to be represented in the media."

She then tagged anti-ageism campaigner Nicky Clark, saying the tweet might get her into trouble.
Beatrice added: "@MrsNickyClark that will probably get me into lots of stick, but it’s true."
Her 10,700 Twitter followers rushed to offer their support.
One tweeted: "It’s wrong that you aren’t invited. One of the longest reigning characters on the show and one of the most well loved - you deserved to be there."
"Spot on Beatie it is called AGEISM," another posted.
A third said: "I can't believe you weren't invited! You should be, you played a vital role in what makes Poldark, Poldark. We still love you!"
A BBC spokesperson said: "We'd have loved to have Beatie at our event so we're surprised by this because we were told she couldn't attend."
Poldark will return for its fifth and final series in the coming weeks, though a start date hasn't been confirmed yet.
