Poldark's Aidan Turner stars with real-life girlfriend in new movie about Hitler

Beaming Poldark star Aidan Turner steps out with his real-life love Caitlin Fitzgerald on the set of their new movie.

Aidan, 35, stars in fantasy film The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot.

He plays undercover US soldier Calvin Barr, tasked with assassinating the Nazi leader.

Decades later – and now played by American actor Sam Elliott, 74 – Barr is hired for another top-secret mission... killing Bigfoot, which is carrying a deadly plague threatening humanity.

Caitlin, 36, plays love interest Maxine.

She and Aidan met on the Massachusetts set in 2017.

The film is in limited cinemas and on-demand from April 12 – and on DVD and Blu-ray on May 6.

Meanwhile, Poldark fans have been waiting patiently for the arrival of series five.

Filming wrapped in February and Aidan planted a kiss on co-star Eleanor Tomlinson, 26, to mark the occasion .

It's been hinted that Ross and Eleanor's character Demelza could return to telly in the future despite the fact series five was originally thought to be the end of the series.

Aidan is best-known as TV's Ross Poldark (BBC)

Producer Debbie Thrussell recently revealed: “If we did a Poldark six – and a lot of us would like to do it – it wouldn’t be for a few years.”
