Rotom is an extremely cool and versatile Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet. This Electric/Ghost-type can possess a number of different appliances to change its type and movepool. This has made it an enduring Pokémon for several seasons of competitive and is very useful in the upcoming Cinderace Tera Raid event.

Where to get the Rotom Catalog – Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Once you have beaten the Water-type Gym Leader, you’ll be able to head to Porto Marinada. This is where several auctions take place daily for rare items. While these are usually random, if you go there with a Rotom in your party then one of the auctions is guaranteed to be the Rotom Catalog.
After you’ve found the seller, go there and start the auction. Make sure you’ve got a decent bit of money in the bank, as there’s no clear strategy for these auctions. The easiest way to ensure you win is to always pick the lowest option to bid until everyone else gives up.
How to change Rotom forms – Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
To change Rotom’s form, just go into your bag and find the item, then select it while you have a Rotom in your party and you’ll be able to pick which form you want Rotom to take. The five different forms are:
- Heat Rotom – Microwave – Electric/Fire
- Wash Rotom – Washing Machine – Electric/Water
- Frost Rotom – Refrigerator – Electric/Ice
- Fan Rotom – Electric Fan – Electric/Flying
- Mow Rotom – Lawnmower – Electric/Grass
