We’re at the announcement that a trailer is coming stage of the game release cycle, aren’t you excited? But hey, you do want to know, so Nintendo are going to oblige: there’s a new Pokémon Scarlet & Violet trailer on the way tomorrow.
At 6am Pacific / 9am Eastern – so around 23 hours from now and counting – the Pokémon YouTube channel will have another trailer for the upcoming games, from which we’ve seen relatively little. We know what the starters look like (the grass cat is the best, shut up toof-stans), and the general tone of the region, but that’s about it.
It’s also worth noting that in the previous trailer the game certainly looked a little rough. Whether that’s just the nature of the Switch, something the Pokémon company is doing wrong, or evidence of an early build is up for debate. However, that should be answered tomorrow, depending on how it looks.
The games are still due out this year, though who knows, maybe that’ll change tomorrow as well. See you back here.
