Nintendo went and made everyone’s day by releasing an extended gameplay video for Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
It’s more of a lengthy presentation, if anything, clocking in at around 13 minutes. The meat of this demonstration entails what players can expect in the Hisui region where Pokémon Legends: Arceus takes place. There are more details on crafting and gathering than in previous trailers, and it seems the weather will play a massive part in catching any Pokémon. Some might only come out while the sun is shining, while others prefer a chilly day.

There’s certainly no shortage of ambition here, and Due to Hisui being such a massive area, you’ll have to use special Pokémon to get around. Wyrdeer, for instance, can be ridden around to help you get past rough terrain. There are loads more new bits to learn about, and it helps that this video is in English rather than the features trailer, which only had Japanese language options.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is coming out for Nintendo Switch on Jan. 28, which is only a couple of weeks away!
