'Pokémon GO': Here Are All The Regional Pokémon In The Game And Where To Find Them

Pokemon GO

If you’ve got some blank spots in your Pokédex, chances are that at least some of them are regionals. Ever since Pokémon GO launched, certain Pokémon have been locked to certain parts of the world in a system that’s really not that much unlike the mainline RPGs, but on a much grander scale. For a long time the only way to get these things was to actually travel and catch them in the wild, but they’re a whole lot easier to obtain now that we have a trading system and you can keep an eye out for any traveling friends that might be willing to snag something for you. There’s a ton of these in the game right now, and we just got a new drop of them along with the introduction of Gen 5 creatures from the Unova region.

So let’s get into the list: here are all the regional Pokémon currently available in Pokémon GO. There are a ton at this point, but with a good amount of overlap: Southern Florida, in particular, is a great spot to hunt. If you’ve got a friend traveling outside of the country, here’s who you want them to look out for.
