Pokémon GO Battle League’s Ultra League, and Ultra League Remix started on Monday, December 13, 2021. Along with the start of the GO Holidays on Thursday, December 16, 2021, Holiday Cup joins up with them as a traditional limited format. This tournament will be available until December 31, 2021.
Only Pokémon with a maximum of 1,500 Competition Points (CP) can participate in the Holiday Cup. In addition, many Pokémon types are banned – you can only use monsters of the appropriately festive categories Normal, Grass, Electric, Ice, Flying, and Ghost.
