'Poisonous panic' - Leeds fans look ahead to crunch clash vs Nottingham Forest

Leeds United fans have been looking ahead to this weekend’s crucial Sky Bet Championship clash against Nottingham Forest.

The Reds welcome Marcelo Bielsa’s side to the City Ground on Saturday, with both clubs desperate for all three points as they strive to achieve promotion to the Premier League.

Forest go into this weekend's fixture on the back of a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Birmingham City on Saturday, with Grabban missing a penalty which would have given the visitors greater control at St Andrew’s.

Leeds, like Forest, also go into this weekend’s game on the back of a defeat, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side falling 1-0 at home to Wigan Athletic.

Sabri Lamouchi’s side are currently in fourth place in the league standings, four points behind Leeds who occupy second spot and the final automatic promotion place.

The last meeting between the two sides ended in a 1-1 draw back in August, with Lewis Grabban netting a late equaliser for the Reds at Elland Road.

LUFC_Sully: “Honestly think we beat Forest on Saturday, mad as that sounds and if we do we'll be in a good position again.”

Robbo: “We beat forest on sat, cheers.”

LUFCSS: “People saying we might get a result v forest wba cos they will play more attacking than the teams at bottom might be surprised by that stat. I certainly am.”

Dan: “Same thing every week but it's really sinking in how big of a game Forest (A) is, Fulham with not the easiest of fixtures against Blackburn, we really need to open a gap again and this is the chance.”

Andy Firth: “It will be the same team that ended against Wigan.....Roberts keeps his place hopefully, Alioski to the bench and Dallas at FB.....Big Kev to the bench too.”

Mattel: “We really could've done with a fixture tonight. The vacuum created since the Wigan loss has been filled with a faithless, poisonous panic and a dreaded sense of deja vu. Notts Forest on Saturday can't come some enough. Train hard and dust yourself off Lads.”

Ben Wilson: “Well what we think and what Bielsa thinks are 2 different things every time we loose, the following game he puts out the same team.”
