'Point me to the right place' Family make desperate appeal for closure in search for missing Ayrshire man Jackson Mason

The family of an Ayrshire dad who has been missing for almost a month have begged anyone with information to point them in the right direction for the search.

Jackson Mason was last seen between 4pm and 4.30pm on Saturday, December 19 near the Fenwick Hotel in East Ayrshire – close to the M77.

The family have today admitted they have now "prepared for the worst" but are just desperate for "him home" and for "closure".

The 31-year-old is described as 6ft tall and of medium build with dark-brown hair and a heavy facial hair growth.

When he was last seen, he was wearing grey shorts, a shiny black bubble jacket and white trainers.

In a post on the Facebook site 'Missing People Scotland', Jackson's uncle made a desperate appeal insisting someone "must" know something which can help with the search.

He said: "Once again we have came up against a brick wall regarding Jackson.

"Surely Jackson must have went and seen somebody leading up to Xmas or even phoned somebody, don't care what you were up to, please end this nightmare for his mum, sisters and his nine-year-old son.

"We need Jackson home, I thought that somebody would have been in touch by now. If you frightened don't be, as nobody will ever know where the information came from.

"We have been searching for over a month now, somebody reading this post knows something, I know they do.

"Come on time to speak up, WHO YOU FRIGHTENED OF????

"Make up a fake Facebook profile, that way nobody will ever know who or where it came from.

"Are we searching in the right place? Point me to the place we need to search.

"As I said before the family don't deserve this. Maybe you have heard a whisper - anything at all could be vital, remember there is a £5,000 reward for information to getting Jackson back home.

"We as a family are prepared for the worst, we just want him home and closure."

Jackson's uncle has previously promised a £5000 reward for the 31-year-old's safe return.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 0662 of 20 December 2020.
