A Christmas advert has already melted hearts across the nation before it's even been aired, and it's even giving John Lewis a run for their money.
The advert - which reportedly cost nothing to make - tells a touching story of a man and his loyal furry companion Bruno that has been viewed more than a million times on YouTube.
The five-minute long ad was put together by a man named Sam Clegg, who warned viewers that it's a "sad song and video that will make you cry”.
And indeed it did.
Millions of people have said the moving storyline left them in tears, as the five-minute clip sees Sam sing the backing track, while his very own dad stars in the ad.

And Sam's wholesome reason for creating the advert adds even more of a touching aspect, as he revealed the ad was made in a bid to raise funds for a charity that supports the elderly at a time like this.
Sam told The Sun: "This song/advert is dedicated to everyone who has faced hardships in 2020.
“This story is one of loss and sorrow which some viewers may find distressing, but with this video/campaign we hope to turn a negative into a positive by donating all of the proceeds made from the song to multiple charities that support the elderly in the UK!"

He added: “This Christmas Advert Concept for John Lewis was filmed to show the bond between humans and dogs. Many elderly people rely on their animal family for their wellbeing.”
The touching advert sets the scene from the get-go, as the bond between the elderly man and his dog become apparent.
As the man counts down till Christmas, they indulge in festive treats before heading out on a walk together.

It is then when the worst happens, and Bruno goes missing.
Desperate to find his loyal companion, the elderly man puts up posters in search of his missing dog.
The advert unfortunately has a tragic ending, but Sam insists it's the dramatic ending that really highlights just how vulnerable the elderly are this time of year.
Naturally, the heart-wrenching advert saw viewers flock to the comments section as they opened up about their reactions to the storyline.

"This made me cry like a banshee! The song and cause is amazing. CHRISTMAS NO 1 PLEASE!!!!!" one emotional viewer wrote.
Another wrote: “Omg this is so sad. Was just thinking about the song and it brought tears to my eyes.”
A third added: “There isn’t much that makes me cry but this... this got me crying, and you don’t need to be sorry, because it’s an amazing video. Keep up the good work.”
While a fourth agreed, adding: “This truly moved me to tears so emotional but its so true!"
