Pogba starts, Van de Beek benched - Manchester United line up fans want to see vs Arsenal

Manchester United fans want Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to stick with the diamond formation that was so effective against RB Leipzig in today's Premier League clash against Arsenal.

Solskjaer opted to rest a number of key players against the Bundesliga side with Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford both starting from the bench.

Both players are set to return to the starting XI against Mikel Arteta's men after making brief appearances in the Champions League victory.

MEN Sport writers offered their insight into who Solskjaer should select against the Gunners and asked United fans to do the same.

Supporters opted for an unchanged back four with Alex Telles still unavailable after testing positive for COVID-19.

Solskjaer's selection dilemma is in midfield with Scott McTominay and Fred impressing in recent weeks in the diamond formation. Fans believe both men should retain their places to partner Paul Pogba and Fernandes, with Donny van de Beek overlooked for his first Premier League start.

Our graphic has the midfield four in odd positions which can only be attributed to a technical glitch. Fred is likely to act as the anchor of the midfield, flanked by Pogba and McTominay, with Fernandes in the No.10 role.

With Anthony Martial serving the final game of his three-match suspension, fans want Rashford to partner Mason Greenwood in attack, opting against giving Edinson Cavani his first United start.

Manchester United fans' XI vs Arsenal: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw; Fred, McTominay, Pogba, Fernandes; Rashford, Greenwood.
