Pogba and Henderson to start - Manchester United predicted line up vs AC Milan

Manchester United could make just one change to their starting line-up for the Europa League last-16 second-leg against AC Milan on Thursday night.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side go into the match drawing 1-1 on aggregate with Milan after their meeting last week, but are behind on away goals.

It means United will need to score and avoid defeat if they are to have any hope of progressing to the quarter-finals as Solskjaer strives for the perfect balance with his team selection.

The first big call comes in goal with David de Gea now back available for selection following his isolation period, but Dean Henderson has been United's cup 'keeper all season, with De Gea not appearing outside of the Premier League and Champions League.

Eric Bailly's absence makes the defensive decision a simple one with Victor Lindelof the only option to partner Harry Maguire in the heart of the defence.

Paul Pogba has been a huge miss over the past month and should start if he is fit, bringing him in for Scott McTominay would make the most sense.

Edinson Cavani's late withdrawal has left United with a dilemma up front considering there is no natural No.9 option in the squad. Marcus Rashford now seems a certainty to start through the middle with Mason Greenwood and Daniel James either side of him.

United predicted XI vs AC Milan: Henderson; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; Pogba, Fred, Fernandes; Greenwood, James, Rashford.
