There's been something of a horsemeat revival in Europe (and, of course, in Ramsay's kitchen) in recent years.
And with good reason - it's reputedly very healthy.
But France's supply of horsemeat is under threat, thanks to a campaign led by the actor Bo Derek. In our daily news show, Angelique Chrisafis explained why much of the horsemeat consumed in Europe is produced in America.
