PocketPair is treating fans to a massive experience as the game studio is gearing up for the release of "Palworld 1.0," the title's first full public release that has been anticipated for over two years now.
PocketPair Brings 'Palworld 1.0' Good News to Fans
In a post on X, PocketPair confirmed that "Palworld" will stay at its current price of $29.99 when the 1.0 update launches. The developer said that after careful consideration, the decision was made to keep the price unchanged as a way of thanking fans for their ongoing support throughout the early access period.
The announcement comes just days before "Palworld" officially exits early access on July 10, marking a significant milestone for one of the most talked-about games to come out of the early access model in years.
The move stands out particularly given the current pricing climate in the gaming industry. With "GTA VI" setting its standard edition at $80 and major console makers continuing to raise prices on hardware, PocketPair's choice to hold the line at $29.99 for a full release represents a notably different approach from what many players have been experiencing lately.
After much thought, we have decided not to raise the price of Palworld following the 1.0 release and will keep it at $29.99.

'Palworld 1.0' Brings Full Release Version
The studio also confirmed that "Palworld" has now surpassed 40 million total players worldwide, a remarkable figure for a game that only launched into early access back in January 2024.
That launch was historic in its own right, with the game selling seven million copies in just five days, breaking records on Steam and drawing comparisons to some of the fastest-selling games in the platform's history.
To mark the occasion ahead of 1.0, PocketPair released a special video looking back at the major updates and milestones that have shaped the game over the course of its early access run. It covered everything from the Sakurajima update to the Tides of Terraria collaboration and Feybreak.

What to Expect From 'Palworld 1.0'
The 1.0 update arriving on July 10 is shaping up to be the biggest drop in the game's history. Several brand new Pals have already been revealed, including Dupin, Solenne, Sekhmet, and Hoodle, alongside many more still to be disclosed.
A massive new landmass is also being added to the Palpagos Islands, giving players an entirely new region to explore.
Beyond new content, the update brings significant gameplay overhauls, including revamped Wildlife Sanctuaries that now feature unique ecosystems filled with rare Pals and challenging bosses.
The game's quest system has been reworked as well, introducing a new main storyline for players to follow alongside existing side content.
PocketPair has noted that while existing worlds can carry over into 1.0, starting a fresh save is strongly recommended for the best experience given the extent of the changes. Players who want to keep their existing Pals can make use of the Global Palbox system to transfer them between worlds before making the switch.
