PMQs: David Cameron caught on microphone grumbling over the length of Jeremy Corbyn's questions

David Cameron has been caught on microphone complaining about the length of PMQs.

As he exited the chamber and passed the Speaker's bench, the Prime Minister could be heard saying “It’s getting longer and longer” in reference to the session's duration.

The remark was reported by on the BBC's Daily Politics, after it picked up through the microphones next to Speaker John Bercow's seat.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn had earlier questioned Mr Cameron again over tax credits, with the PM avoiding a direct response on the issue for a seventh time in the last two PMQs sessions.

The weekly sessions are taking longer due to Mr Corbyn’s tactic of waiting for MPs' jeering and shouting to die down instead of attempting to talk over the noise.
