The announcement date of the 23rd PM Kisan Yojana (PM Kisan) installment release has been eagerly anticipated by crores of farmers in India. Beneficiaries of the PM Kisan scheme receive Rs 2,000 in each of the three instalments in a year.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 22nd instalment of the PM Kisan scheme on March 13, 2026, in Guwahati, Assam.

PM Kisan 23rd instalment date and time

Based on the pattern of previous instalment releases, the PM Kisan 23rd instalment is expected to be released around June-July 2026. However, the official date has not been announced yet.

PM Kisan beneficiaries receive three equal instalments of Rs 2,000 every four months through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) into their bank accounts.

What is the PM-Kisan scheme?

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme is a central government scheme that provides income support to eligible landholding farmer families. Under the scheme, Rs 6,000 is transferred every year in 3 equal instalments of Rs 2,000 each to help farmers meet agricultural and allied expenses.

Farmers must ensure their e-KYC is completed and their Aadhaar card is linked to their bank account to receive the instalment amount.

Eligible farmers should note that completing eKYC is compulsory to receive the 23th instalment of the PM Kisan scheme. Without completing eKYC, they will not receive the next instalment of Rs 2,000.
