Plympton man charged with attempted murder over stabbing outside Adelaide nightclub

A 20-year-old man has been arrested over a stabbing outside an Adelaide nightclub in the early hours of this morning.

Emergency services were called to the front of a nightclub on Currie Street in the city about 12:30am, after reports a man had been stabbed in the neck.

The 21-year-old Modbury Heights man was treated at the scene for life-threatening injuries and remains in a serious but stable condition in the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

Police arrested a 20-year-old Plympton man a few hours later at a Hindley Street business.

He was charged with attempted murder and will appear in court tomorrow.

Police said the two men were known to each other.
