A three-year-old girl was one of five victims killed by gunman Jake Davison in Plymouth, police have confirmed.
Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed the identity of the 22-year-old shooter at a press conference this morning.
Davison shot and killed a 51-year-old woman, who police said was known to the gunman, at an address in Biddick Drive, in the Keyham area of the city, on Thursday evening at around 6pm.
Police are yet to confirm whether there was a "familial relationship" between the two, Chief Constable Shaun Sawyer told reporters this morning.
After shooting his first victim, Davison went on to kill four more people - a three-year-old girl, a 43-year-old man who was related to her, a 59-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman.
Davison then turned the gun on himself and took his own life.

Two people, aged aged 53 and 33, who are known to each other, sustained significant injuries in the incident and remain in hospital.
Mr Sawyer told this morning's press conference that armed and unarmed officers arrived at the scene six minutes after receiving multiple calls from the public.
The chief constable said a firearm – described by witnesses as a "pump-action shotgun" – was recovered from the scene.
Outlining the timeline of events, Mr Sawyer said after shooting his first victim on Biddick Drive, Davison left the address and "immediately shot then killed a very young girl".
"He also shot and killed the male relative of that girl," he told the press conference.
“This was a truly shocking event and was witnessed by members of the public."
He continued: “Further along Biddick Drive he aimed and shot at two local residents – a man and a woman – who received significant but we understand, at present, not life-threatening injuries.
“From there, Mr Davison entered adjacent parkland where he immediately shot a man who died at the scene.
“Thereafter he moved to Henderson Place where he shot a woman.”
He said eyewitnesses told police that Davison then turned the gun on himself.
The events unfolded over "a matter of minutes", he said.
Mr Sawyer added that the victims’ identities would be made public at a later time.
The chief constable confirmed Davison was a firearms licence holder and said there was “no motive” at present.
He added: “We are not considering terrorism or a relationship with any far-right group.”
Police will be looking at Davison’s social media output as part of the investigation.
The mass shooting in Plymouth is the first in Britain for more than a decade after taxi driver Derrick Bird killed 12 people in Cumbria and injured 11 others before taking his own life in 2010.
