Plethora of Georgia football players on College Football News’ preseason All-America teams

With just under one week until the start of the 2019 college football season, Pete Fiutak of College Football News released his preseason All-America teams.

Fiutak made a first, second and third team, that included a total of five Georgia Bulldog.

On the first team, Georgia tackle Andrew Thomas made an appearance. Thomas, a junior, is considered the top offensive lineman in college football this year and is projected as a top-10 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

On the second team, Georgia placed an additional three players. Running back D’Andre Swift, guard Solomon Kindley and safety J.R. Reed all showed up on the second team.

That left junior quarterback Jake Fromm for the third team. Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa occupied the spot on the first team and Trevor Lawrence of Clemson took the second team.
